2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• Providing and Enhancing the App: Your email and reading performance data are used for authentication and to tailor your app experience.
• Analytics and Research: Data from Umami helps us analyze trends and improve our services.

3. Third-Party Services

a. OAuth Providers

b. Analytics Tools

We rely on Umami for analytics, which may collect various types of data (including location data) to help us understand user behavior.

c. Platform Tools

Our App is built using frameworks such as Next.js and Auth.js. While we do not have direct insight into every tracking mechanism these tools may employ, any data collected is used solely to enhance your experience and maintain the App’s security.

d. Payment Processing

We use Stripe for processing payments. Stripe handles payment data—such as credit card details—securely on their systems. By making a purchase on the App, you consent to the processing of your payment information by Stripe in accordance with their privacy policy. We do not retain your sensitive payment information on our servers.

4. AI and User Content Processing

Please note that some user-typed inputs within the App may be processed via the OpenAI API. This processing is used to provide dynamic responses and enhance your experience. By using the App, you consent to the transmission of your text input to third-party services like OpenAI, subject to their respective data handling policies.

5. Data Storage, Security, and Retention

• Cloud Storage: Your data is stored on DigitalOcean servers in the cloud. We take reasonable precautions to protect your data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
• Retention: We will retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy or as required by law.

6. Your Data Protection Rights

• Access and Correction: You have the right to access and update your personal information.
